One day I was reading Jeremiah 31 and then the spirit witnessed the new covenant to me. I immediately had a change of my inward character toward God. He was not 'out to get me' for slipping up. He was letting me slip up to get me. Since that day when I do open the bible, it explodes in my face like a conflagration of meaning that none in the church sepulchres can ever experience. The bible is about Jesus. The whole thing from Genesis to Revelation is about the work of Jesus. Through religion mankind is arrogating to himself God's work and glory, instead of gratefully accepting the finished work. I thank God through Christ our Lord that I was freed from the chain of religion. I pray that every religious person who ever finds these newsgroups will flee the church whore, run to the hills to meet Jesus, stay the hell out of her, and watch her burn. Jesus is not in the church. Jesus was never in the church. The modern thing called church is an impostor. The Protestants, the Anabaptists, the Pilgrims, the Anglicans, the Lutherans, the Methodists, the Puritans, ad nauseum, are all offspring of Rome and never had, and still don't have the true gospel.
