Dozens of prophecies made centuries in advance have been fulfilled to the letter. That is proof, the kind of proof that can't be trumped: "Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it." Then, Christ came, and a new people was formed, a new nation, called Christians, who flowed like rivers out from Judea and grew and filled the earth and spread throughout the nations. The raptor from the eastern sun, the rivers, owls, dragons, wilderness, and desert are Oriental idioms which I will not define for you. If you care about the truth you will go seek the meaning of these ancient symbols then you will know Jehovah spoke truly and his prophet recorded a true and faithful account. Like Christians, you willfully misinterpret those prophecies to mean what you want them to mean, then you say they are false. But any honest reading of their original meaning shows them fulfilled. "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation." Isaiah 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. Isaiah 23:17 And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth. I'm not going to debate you on the matter. I'm just calling you out for your presumptuousness for the benefit of the rare seeking soul who might find this message. I'm not trying to convince you. Just intellectually, without any deep divine inspiration, a man can see that the Jehovah of the Old Testament prophesied in advance many world events, the rise and fall of particular nations, and empires, described in great detail, with precise dates and timelines. Jehovah foretold the appearance of the most important man who ever lived. That man is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the ravenous bird from the eastern sun. That raptor seized the prey from the waters, like a great fisher of men. He has taken captive the nations of the world. Jesus continues to grow their captivity to himself despite all their organized rebellion. Not one nation or empire escapes his judgment when he sends his servants forth to speak the words that crash regimes and empires down. "And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee." The rise of Christendom was only the beginning of the terrible marvels which show the work of Jehovah. When moved by divine inspiration, a man is in awe of Jehovah; terrified to know that the One and Only God, who shouldn't exist by any means of material inquiry, who can't be known by mere mental deduction, does in fact exist, and hides himself like a lightning bolt hides the invisible current of electricity. You see the lightning effect, but you can never see the powerful current that creates the visible effect. This is how God Almight relates to mortal man. It is terrible and awesome to know our lives are in His hand and there is nothing we can do about it. You make light of this not out of some superior rationale but as a result of uninformed blindness dressed up in self-bloated hubris. Militant atheists are brainwashed into viewing themselves of higher intellect compared to Christian Lilliputians. Jehovah is not merely real. Jehovah is reality. Jehovah is the power behind the storm. Jehovah is the force behind the waves. Jehovah is the trembling that moves the earth. Your life is completely in His hands. He can raise you up and he can strike you down. All your militaries, and religions, and constabularies, and inventions, and money presses, and riches, and lies, can't thwart His will in your continued existence or sudden demise. You have no power to preserve your own life. All the combined military and economic might of the entire world has zero power to preserve your life. God gives life and God can take it away at any instant He so chooses, and there is not a damn thing you can do about it. He does not consult or counsel with man on what course He will plot out. All the wisdom of the wisest men cannot stop the tornado, the tsunami, the hurricane, the earthquake, the volcano, the meteoric hail from heaven, the flood, the fire, the drought, the famine, the plague, the insurrection, the war, the economic collapse, the crime wave, or whatever method God chooses to make his displeasure known to a rebellious people. He testifies to us in the order and harmonious cycles of the creation itself. Any look at the Ptolemaic zodiac charts proves this. Yet men have invented fantastic scientific hallucinations to deny the obvious. Men labor under the delusion that they have power to preserve their own lives or prop up their nations and empires in the face of any calamity.
