Knowledge is death. "... the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe ..." Faith is life. The two are polar opposites. To have knowledge is to be convicted of sin. To have faith in the unseen and unknown is to have life. Paul says: "Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. But if any man love God, the same is known of him." If we love God, then we know him. That is the only knowledge that matters. That is the only knowledge that saves. All other knowledge and mysteries have no power to save the soul from death and hell. So here we see that knowledge is nothing, but charity proves that a man knows God. "Knowledge" of "mysteries" is nonsense without knowing God. In the Church it is impossible to know God because they think that their "mysterious knowledge" is God. The Church is offering you to eat from the tree of knowledge. Now you know who the serpent is! Charity is the perfect love of Christ. The religious liars who posture as teachers should learn: "Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm." So they pretend to teach the law of God, yet know not its first principles. They erect religious empires, and put themselves on God's throne. Their 'knowledge' is nonsense. Paul also reiterated this when he told men not to pray with the head covered, as it is a shameful thing for a man to pray with his head covered.
