This is a followup to my own question.

The seed of God is Jesus Christ and the children of Abraham, not
something God put in Mary's womb to fertilize an egg.

"Of this man's seed [David] hath God according to his promise raised
unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus ..."

So would we say, "The seed of David, the egg of mankind?" Of course not.

"Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the __seed
of David according to the flesh__ ..."

So we read that Jesus "was MADE the seed of David", and it was done,
"according to the flesh." There is no magic sperm from God.

The seed of God is defined many times in scripture.

"The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom;
but the tares are the children of the wicked one ..."

The idea of a god impregnating a mortal with his holy sperm comes from
Babylon. Semiramis (Isis) claimed that her husband was a god, and had
impregnated her with his holy sperm, and the child to be born was the
reincarnation of the god who impregnated her before he died. You can
look it up.

What happened with Mary was the Holy Ghost overshadowed her. God didn't
implant one of his own sperm to fertilize an egg in her fallopian tube.
Scripture doesn't say such a thing. God didn't use a sperm to create
Adam, nor Eve. Woman was taken out of man. Jesus was created the same
way Adam was created, by spontaneous generation of God's Spirit. That's
why Jesus is the last Adam.
