But then again, I would have to convict myself of the same fault. The truth is that I do not expect any of the imbeciles to have a change of mind or heart on account of anything I say. Michael has tried to tell you many times: You do not find God by the exercise of the limited human mind. You cannot find him by the inquiry of the human senses. You find God by letting go of your attachment to your own thoughts and perceptions and following the innate intution he gives to divide one's path between self and soul. His way of putting it is something like, "Go find him in your daily life." What this means is that the Divine One is not a mental exercise that you can conjure at will. He is not an object that you can divine with experiments or instrumentation, formulae or incantations. You must be listening for when the Spirit wills, and follow the Spirit. As it is written, the Spirit is like the wind, that blows where it wills, and nobody else knows where it comes from or where it is going, [except him that is carried away by it]. So is every one who is born of the Spirit. You cannot measure a man's walk in the Spirit with metrics, instruments, creedos, authorities, purity tests, or rule books. Only that man and his Maker know the path he is on and where it goes--where the wind is carrying him to. Everything in the Christian and secular religions is an assault on this walk that each man must make with his own soul, a walk that forces a man to confront himself before God on a daily basis. The wickedly wise and religious seek to project evil onto others and confront it in their victims, instead of examining themselves. God guides a believer by speaking to the believer. God did not establish the Bible as a bureaucratic manual on what believers shall or shall not do, or say or eat, or think. "... taste not ... touch not ...", etc. [Colossians 2] Such is the work of Pharisees. Of what use is the Holy Spirit in those born again, if they must consult some Bible interpretation or religious dogma or secular scientific oracle for everything they do? Answer: it is only of use to Pharisees who want to rule over the conscience of other people. Such bureacratic strictures are of the flesh rather than of the spirit. Appeals to fear, terror, dogma, and authority are the tools of tyrants. Perfect faith casts out this wicked fear of retribution from a vicious tyrant and reveals to man the truly patient and forgiving nature of a long-suffering Father. Jesus pointed to himself and the testimony of the Holy Spirit as the truth. He did not point to a book or scroll for his authority. For the most part the Lord Jesus quoted scripture not to teach people the truth, but to expose those who were using the scripture as a weapon to promote their own bureaucratic vision of 'truth.' Michael has been telling you this for a long time, but you refuse to hear. This is why he denounces the Christian use of the bible--not because the Bible is unprofitable, but because their hypocrisy transforms it into a profane poison. For sure the scripture is profitable for REPROOF and CORRECTION of those who misuse it as a magic rule book. Those of us following the Spirit have a more sure word of prophecy: "For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." [2 Peter 1] The Apostle is teaching that there is a more sure word of prophecy, the same word of prophecy that spoke through the writers of the scripture, which speaks now to those indwelt with the same Spirit. The human heart is the dark place, and Jesus Christ is the day star that rises to illuminate it. The Bible is not that light. Jesus is that light. For telling you this, some here have repaid Michael with calumny and curses. Men conflate their holy books with God (bible, physics text, etc.) and bludgeon 'heretics' with their 'god.' This is the bureaucratic mind of Satan, the accuser. Satan is bureaucracy. The Spirit is whimsical and follows no detailed outline of rules. It knows the right path to whatever the goal or destination is at the moment. When God said, "let there be light" this is what he meant. The light divides the day from the night. Jesus is the divider of day and night, sheep and goats, truth and error. It is impossible to rightly divide the scripture without first already following after Him. The scriptures convict of sin. The light disinfects the sin. You must find the Light to escape the dark bondage of the world and its religions, which bind man to darkness and condemnation through cunning fables and deceit. The Bible cannot baptize. No one was ever saved by reading the Bible. Mechanical or methodical salvation is just more Pharisee bureacracy.
