You're kidding, right?

The Old Covenant was cancelled before the foundation of the world. The
people required to sacrifice were those who could not be accounted
righteous by faith in the sacrifice God would provide.

You are implying that the Lamb of sacrifice provided by God on the cross
is not sufficient for the forgiveness of sin.

The whole point of the Old Covenant was to witness the sacrifice. The
Old Covenant convicted of sin and condemned. It did not liberate man
from sin, nor could it. A better sacrifice was needed.

You don't avoid judgment for breaking the ten commandments by keeping
the ten commandments. That's not how it works. You avoid the judgment by
sacrifice. The reason is simple. You don't keep the commandments. You
never have kept the commandments. And until you are resurrected into a
sinless body, you never will. If you claim that you do keep the
commandments ... then you are a liar. If you claim that Christ in you
keeps the commandments, then you are not far from the Kingdom.

If you break one commandment, one single precept of the law, then you
have broken them all and you are forever guilty of the whole law and no
amount of bull or lamb offerings or prayers or apologies or sorrows can
remove that guilt. But one spotless lamb, who laid claim and title to
you as his possession, paid the debt of your guilt. Jesus being your
owner, paid your frankpledge with his blood. That's why he stands as the
mediator between the Father and man. Jesus is your owner. He bought you.

So for someone who claims to believe in the Old Covenant, you certainly
don't understand it. The New Covenant is the point of the Old Covenant.
We see this with John the Baptist who told Israel to bring forth fruits
meet for repentance. They failed. So God provided the fruit for sacrifice.

Everyone brought their sin offerings to sacrifice to atone for sin. Once
the Lamb of God was slain, there is no more sacrifice, which the Old
Testament prophets understood:

"Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou
opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Then
said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I
delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart."

(Compare to Jeremiah 31:31)

"For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest
not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a
broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise."
