The Old Testament scripture specifically prohibits trinity worship:

    John 17:3 
    And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true
    God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

The Father is the ONLY god. Only the Father is God.

   Deuteronomy 6:4 
   Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

Jehovah is God, Jehovah alone.

   Exodus 20:3 
   Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Jehovah the Father said this. Making your other Jesus into God is
having another god in place of Jehovah.

   Exodus 34:14 
   For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is
   Jealous, is a jealous God:

Jehovah is so jealous it's in his name, and he says worship no other.

   Matthew 6:24 
   No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and
   love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the
   other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Christians claim to serve three masters. Fuzzy math.

   Luke 16:13 
   No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one,
   and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the
   other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Jesus says that only the Father is God:

   John 17:3 
   And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the ONLY true
   God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Jesus leaves no room for a trinity here. He proclaims in no uncertain
terms that only the Father is God.

The trinity is the idol of Babylon. Jehovah is God, Jehovah alone.
